Scrapbook Sunday

Hi all,

 

Here is this weeks scrapbook layout, its from my holidays again!  I wanted to create a patterned background for this layout so I started by sponging the paper using So Saffron then inked around the edges.

 

 

I then used bubble wrap inked with so saffron and placed this onto the paper and pressed down firmly to transfer the ink.  I've used one of my new stamps sets 'Tape it' to create the rest of the background.

 

 

Add some photo's and pinwheels and here's the finished product x

 

 

 

 

I just need to add a title- Any ideas???

Scrapbook Sunday

Sorry should say Scrapbook Monday as I'm a day late!  We were at a wedding yesterday so I didn't get round to doing the post before going, but wont worry it's her now x

I've used the Flower Shop stamps again which I've teamed these up with some of the Garden Gingham papers.  I was originally going to keep the background white but it looked like the page was missing something. I needed something quite big behind the photograph so I tried my Honeycomb embossing folder as a stamp.  I smoothed the ink pad (So Saffron) over it and then pressed it firmly onto the cardstock I then stippled some of the ink over it with a stencilling brush I'm really pleased with the finished result.

Scrapbook Sunday

What a lovely day it has been so far, a perfect time to take some snaps of my latest scrapbook page.  The photograph was taken in Menorca a couple of years ago, it was a warm windy day on the beach and I love the way my daughter is just thinking, looking out to sea.

Scrapbook Sunday

I have embellished this layout with the Artisan Emellishment kit which is available in the Spring/Summer Catalogue.  I love the lace, ribbon and all of the little bits that you get with it.

Scrapbook Sunday x

So heres another layout for all you scrapbookers. 

We had a great holiday in Menorca and the girls loved the sunshine and being able to play in the outside pool.  This picture was taken in a rare moment when they actually stayed still and were not swimming or diving under the water.

 

I've used the Summer Smooches paper, it's fun and bright and great for summer holiday pictures.  Sadly these papers are retiring but i'm sure there will be some new fun and fresh papers for me to play with in the new catalogue x 

 

I created the bunting using the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and the Petite Pennants Builder punch.  The title is from the Feel Goods stamp set, I love the phrases in this set, I'm sure I will be using them on a number of projects.
