Oh Baby!

I am surrounded by friends and family having babies at the moment and after spending an afternoon with our friends two little boys I decided to make this cute baby card.
More inspiration from their blog can be found HERE

I've used this great sketch from Retro Sketches, I didn't want to use the typical blue colour combination, so I played around with some other ideas and here is the finished card.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Tape It, Chalk Talk, Zoo Babies, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Baked Brown Sugar, Basic Grey
Paper:  Basic Grey, Very Vanilla
Embellishments:  Old Olive Ribbon, Rhinestones
Accessories: Oval Framelits, Banner Framlits, Chalk Talk Framelits

Class Card

Here are the two cards we made at my recent class, its growing in numbers and I had two new ladies attend this month, which is great!

We used a sponging effect on the first card to create a grungy look, then added some random prints using the Tape it stamp set.

I wanted to use a range of patterns on the second card and show how they can work together.  I've already featured this card in my flower shop post so all the supplies can be found further down, take a look xx.

Hope you like them.

Scrapbook Sunday

Hi all,

Here is this weeks scrapbook layout, its from my holidays again!  I wanted to create a patterned background for this layout so I started by sponging the paper using So Saffron then inked around the edges.

I then used bubble wrap inked with so saffron and placed this onto the paper and pressed down firmly to transfer the ink.  I've used one of my new stamps sets 'Tape it' to create the rest of the background.

Add some photo's and pinwheels and here's the finished product x

I just need to add a title- Any ideas???

Hope you like it
