Well as it's the day of love coming soon and at work we have had love week with our preshoolers I thought I should follow that theme this week on the blog.
I ran a watercolour card class yesterday evening and we experimented with creating backgrounds. I created this one using the colours Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo and Real Red on a large block then spritzed it with water and then placed it directly onto the cardstock. It creates a great effect and you can play with lots of different colours.
I've used the Language of Love stamp set again, I love the little hearts they are so cute and with a matching punch they are so easy to cut out .
The card design was inspired by this weeks challenge on Freshly Made Sketches which you can find HERE, I find sketches a great place to start when your having a bit of a crafting block.
The sentiment for this one is from Yippee Skippee. "I Freakin Love You" is not a phrase I would usually use but it's fun and everyone who looks at this set has a laugh at it. x
