What a busy Christmas

What a busy time we have had over the festive period, we have spent some lovely days and nights with family and friends, ate too much chocolate and drank far to much red wine!

I am looking forward to a crafty 2014 with lots of new products and ideas and hope that I will be able to share these with lots of you.

Firstly here are some of the special cards I made for family.  I LOVE the box cards and have made quite a few not just for Christmas but for birthdays and christenings too.  They are such a wow card and all of the recipients have loved them.

My sister finally had her baby girl on Monday after a 3 day labour (aargh)

Both are still in hospital and doing really well, hopefully they will be home on Monday xx

I was lucky enough to go and see her yesterday and have some baby cuddles, she is so tiny I cant remember my two being so small .

Here is the card I made for her, I cased it from Monica Gales festive flurry box card, check out the video on her blog.

I've used the Zoo babies stamp set which I love it's so cute xx

Christmas Countdown Day 4

Make these snowflake placemats ready to WOW your guests over the festive period.

I created these using standard tiles from B&Q and the Festive Flurry stamp set.

I've heat embossed the design using my Versamark pad and gold embossing powder.  I clear varnished them so the design didn't peel.

A whole lot of love

LOVE these new stamps.

I know we are all about Christmas at the moment but there is always a new product or offer with Stampin Up!

We saw these at Convention in Manchester and if you think they look gorgeous in the picture they are even better when they are sat on your side ready to play with  (yes I already have a set!)

These stamps aren't just for Valentine you could use them for weddings, anniversaries, loved ones birthdays the list could go on.

Gorgeous stamps, treat bags and pre printed cards and envelopes to make your cardmaking even easier.

Christmas Countdown Day 3

Who's got the decorations up?

Here's a gorgeous Christmas wreath that I put together after seeing lots of inspiration on pinterest.  I ran a class for four lovely ladies a few weeks ago and I hope they have theirs hanging up at home ready for the festive period.

We used the burlap ribbon which I love to cover a polystyrene ring then decorated using various flowers cut from punches and dies.

Hope you like it xx

Christmas Countdown Day 2

Create a cute box for some yummy chocolate treats.
These would be great for all of the little people in you life or a small gift for a special teacher  xx

Here is my little snowman, sorry the pictures aren't great.

Now to make this little fella you need.......

Take a piece of cardstock size 21cm x 14cm

Fold your cardstock in half.  On the shortest side (14cm) find the middle point and mark

Score the cardstock from your centre fold and your marked point.

Emboss your cardstock using the polka dot embossing folder then fold all of your scored edges.

Make a hole in each side then thread with ribbon, I chose the red stitched ribbon to match the hat

Make him a little hat and decorate his face their you have your little treat box.

Have fun making yours x

12 days of Christmas!

Yay!  Holidays are coming, who's excited?

I have so many pictures and projects to share with you.  I have been poorly over the last few weeks since returning from the European convention in Manchester (pics to follow).  Cold and chesty cough then a stomach bug are not a good combination.

So I wanted to kick off December 1st with my 12 days of Christmas, well it's still going ahead just a few days late!

So December 3rd - Your 1st day of Christmas.......

Christmas Cards - have you made yours yet?

Here are the three cards we made at my first all day stamp class.
I had 10 lovely ladies join me where we made 15 cards, 5 of each of these designs.
We stamped, laughed and ate too many biscuits xxx

Here are the ladies getting busy!

Here's a few close ups xx

Each received a bag with all of their craft goodies in.
They contained all of the items for the class and 1/2 a DSP pack of Winter Frost, Silver Ribbon and Dazzling Details glitter adhesive for more crafting at home.

We all enjoyed a great day, thank you ladies for joining me xx
